2019 Walk to Cure Arthritis Raises Thousands

This weekend’s annual Walk to Cure Arthritis was a huge success thank to those who donated and spent their time fundraising - while the final numbers are still being tallied, the event was without a doubt a success. Friend, families, and coworkers came from all over the Greater Danbury area to support their loved ones living with Arthritis, and the weather proved to be the nicest weekend in recent months.

The purpose of the Walk to Cure Arthritis is to pursue a cure for America’s #1 cause of disability; one in every four Americans has arthritis, and two-thirds of those affected are under age 65, including 300,000 children. By raising money to find a cure, the Rizzo Companies, working with The Arthritis Foundation, makes more headway through scientific discoveries that bring us closer to a cure.
