Client Testimonials

  • “…Rizzo employees have displayed a high level of professionalism, experience, dedication and commitment to quality throughout the planning and construction phase of the Danbury High School project. In addition, Rizzo Corporation has done an exemplary job of cultivating a teamwork-oriented atmosphere, working well with the project team to find solutions to issues and overcome the challenges during the course of construction. This is absolutely evident with a project change order rate of less than 1%.

I must add how refreshing it is to work with a Project Staff that understands and is dedicated to the “team” approach. Who at all times assists the owner, architect and their consultants in making the construction process efficient, economical and takes the additional effort to ensure that the finished product meets or exceeds all of their respective expectations.

    - Thomas Hughes III, Superintendent of Construction Services, City of Danbury Public Works

  • “The Rizzo Corporation has performed work for the Danbury Hospital for many years and has been a very good company to work with from many perspectives. They are always focused on quality, timelines, and costs, and have a strong team that partners well with their clients.

More recently we have worked with them on our Co-Generation plant which generates most of our electricity, steam heat and air conditioning for our entire campus. This job was performed during last winter which presented many challenges. The job was completed on time and budget. Another project worth noting was the renovation of our 20,000 square foot Community Health Center in Danbury, and at the same time we added another 5,000 square feet to this same building. The Rizzo Corporation worked out the logistics and phasing plans which allowed us to continue to operate the center and not lose a day of work. This was a major accomplishment and the staff of the center is very pleased with the end product.”

    - Morris Gross, Retired Vice Principal, Danbury High School

  • “I wanted to write to let you know of the outstanding performance of your personnel and their sub-contractors during the demolition project of our forty-year-old bell tower.

At all times, the crews stayed focused on the tasks at hand while at the same time keeping me informed of progress and pitfalls. Their information was timely and accurate which was critical as we tried to coordinate a media visit associated with the removal of the bell.”

    - Stephen F. Bagnell, St.Phillip Church, Norwalk, CT

  • “We have contracted with Rizzo on a number of projects over the years. Their pricing has been competitive and their field personnel are technically competent and professional. Management reacts quickly to issues that arise during the course of construction and has exhibited great flexibility when plans change. Our safety requirements are robust but Rizzo has been able to comply because of their own safety culture. Due to their flexibility change orders have been limited…I believe Rizzo negotiates in good faith and is not opportunistic.”
