Danbury Hospital opens the Peter and Carmen Lucia Buck Pavilion and Rizzo Garage to Public

Danbury, Connecticut – July 11, 2014 –Danbury Hospital is pleased to announce that beginning on Tuesday, July 15, The Peter and Carmen Lucia Buck Pavilion and adjacent Rizzo Garage will be open to the public.

Hospital patients and visitors for the Tower building, Psychiatry, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Robert J. and Pamela Morganti Center for Wound Care can self-park in the Rizzo Garage (formerly the Blue Garage) located off of Hospital Avenue adjacent to the Broadview Middle School fields. Those patients and visitors requiring assistance may use the”Oasis” circular driveway for free valet parking services. A staffed Information Desk will welcome patients and visitors to the new Pavilion and guide them to their location.

Patients and visitors to the Praxair Cancer Center, Family Birthing, The Spratt Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Women’s services will still access the Hospital via the Locust Avenue entrance and are able to park free in the adjacent Red Garage. Valet Parking is also available at this location for those patients and visitors requiring extra assistance.
