Ability Beyond Nominates Rizzo Companies as Employer of the Year

The Rizzo Companies were nominated by Ability Beyond as one of its Employers of the year for Rizzo’s commitment to employing a talented and diverse workforce.

“The first Ability Beyond client employed at their Triangle Street office in Danbury quickly became a valued team member. This individual gradually increased their job responsibilities and schedule to become a full time employee,” Ability Beyond wrote for their 4th Annual Corporate Recognition Breakfast.

The Oct. 15 breakfast was held at the new Belimo Aircontrols headquarters on Turner Road in Danbury.

“The Rizzos are always professional, accommodating and supportive and truly care about the well-being of their employees,” Ability Beyond wrote.

“More and more companies are coming to understand that hiring a person who faces a challenge isn’t only good for the person, it’s good for business,” said David Cappiello, vice president of Development with Ability Beyond. “Other employees recognize and realize they’re seeing a person come to work every day, showing up day in and day out without complaints with a big smile on their face. It motivates other employees.”
